TCBS 2016 Year in Review!


So many exciting things happened this year at The Comic Book Shop!
We’ve started doing regular events at the local library, we got to meet legendary artists and hang out in a museum for a weekend, and we have a fresh new crew to help us take TCBS to the next level!

Here’s some of what happened for us in 2016:


Events at Brandywine Hundred Library

In 2016 we hosted our shop club nights at the library on Foulk Rd, in addition to our regular events! We’ve got a monthly series happening for the first half of 2017, so stay tuned for details!

Donation Drives

  • Feminine Hygiene Product Drive benefiting Andrews House in Wilmington, in conjunction with the Riveters at Cab Calloway School of the Arts
  • Winter Wear Donation Drive benefiting local families in need, in conjunction with Congregation Beth Emeth


Events on the Road

  • Phillipsburg Comic-Con, Saturday May 14th, Phillipsburg, NJ – A community-driven convention of creators, panels, student workshops, and more. A portion of the proceeds go to Phillipsburg High School comics club, the majority goes to RAINN.
  • First State Comic-Con, Sunday June 26th at Mill Creek Fire Hall
  • Baltimore Comic-Con, September 2nd – 4th
  • Octoberfest Toy Show at Nur Temple,  Sunday October 30th
