Bucky Barnes: Winter Soldier #6 – If you like Ales Kott’s offbeat exploratory storytelling you should give this a shot. It pairs well with Marco Rudy’s incredibly beautiful and surreal artwork. Just be ready to get into something weird. You don’t need to be a long time Marvel reader, you’ll be confused for entirely different reasons. >Alex

Loki: Agent of Asgard #12 – This has been a pretty solid Loki story so far, with a nice interplay between mythic and modern storytelling. The cover for this issue looks like a clever nod to Saturn Devouring His Son, which is neat if you’re an art geek like me. >Alex
