Adam WarRock’s Reads!

I Kill Giants by Joe Kelly & JM Nimura

I have a song about it on my album, You Dare Call That Thing Human?!?
One of the most moving reading experiences that comics can ever produce.
The kind of comic you can hand to anyone, and make a fan of the medium.

I kill Giants

The Infinity Gauntlet by Jim Starlin, George Perez

& Ron Lim

One of the most definitive historic event comics in modern Marvel history.
If you want to know anything about Thanos in the Avengers movies, start here.

The Sixth Gun by Cullen Bunn & Brian Hurtt

One of the strongest ongoing titles that only gets better as it keeps going.
Moody, every panel drips with gothic character and intrigue.
Get in before the end game starts up.

X-Men: Manifest Destiny by a bunch of people

Nowhere near the BEST or MOST DEFINITEY X-Men book ever,
but if you have any investment in the history of the 90/early 2000s X-Men,
this surprisingly pays off a lot of stories and is a way better read in one chunk
than in issue form. One of my favorites.

Manifest Destiny

The Secret History of DB Cooper by Brian Churilla

One of the most criminally under-read books of 2012, it’s just incredible.
Read it. Seriously.
